a little intro/disclaimer before you enter this site. I’m a little at loss at how to describe the insanity that reigns in this woman’s domain. Don’t get me wrong, it’s hilarious and highly entertaining. But to describe it? It’s what happens when you should have shut your mouth like 20 minutes ago. It’s what happens when you and your friends are stuck in an igloo for days on end and run out of the normal topics to talk about. In short, it’s AWESOME.

If you are an avid reader (whoever you are), you may have noticed that ‘Seek’ was down for a few days.  I decided to switching hosting services and apparently I don’t know how to do it very well.  We had a few problems, had to backtrack and start over. No worries, I worked out the kinks, and I THINK i got it right.  We’ll find out.  We did lose all the comments and you will likely have to reregister.  Your comments may be put in moderation the first time you comment but have no fears, I will be watching spam prison for those who don’t deserve it.  sorry for the downtime and welcome back.

Waiting in my car for 8:30am street cleaning and an open spot opened up. I started my ignition, hoping to snag it but there was a car fractions of seconds ahead of me that pulled in. I’m not about to fight over it so I backed up and reparked along the outside lane, went back to my book. A minute later a third pulled up and waited on the other side. I thought there was going to be some road rage when the newcomer tried to snake out the car that had been waiting. There were some tense words about “being respectful, I was waiting, you can even ask that girl (pointing to me)” I was disappointed there wasn’t more action. It surprises me how cutthroat it can be sometimes.

I’m getting a little sick of shuffling my car around from spot to spot and having to wake up early when I don’t need to. I guess that comes with the territory. I’ve been back and forth to Jersey so much that it’s hard to snap a good spot early enough to leave it there for a few days.

So i was tricked into having a root canal the other day. I thought I was going for a cleaning because my tooth was infected. Apparently a cleaning of the root of your tooth is a root canal. Seems logical now. it wasn’t nearly as dramatic and painful as I thought it would be, despite the two teenage boys who stood over and watched, talking about sports and high school, pretending to be dental assistants. Nothing like getting your teeth scraped with a bunch of people watching.

This past weekend, we took a major hit in the war on parking in NYC. Molly put up a good fight against the thieving nighttime teenagers who were determined to get in. I’m quite proud of her. Casualties were a busted side window (now it matches the windshield) and a busted front door lock (which was already broken anyway).

Seeing as the little punks made off with mountain bike, I’m going to say they won this round. Nonetheless, the war isn’t over yet. They won’t get the best of me!

Papa Go, mechanic and handy man extraordinaire was able to repair the window making it good as new. The front door lock is going to take a bit more time. The mountain bike, I have some thug emissaries on the lookout for that. Holding out slim hope that I can buy it back for 50 bucks. Rookie move, leaving it in there. I have only myself to blame.

So…the website for KL Creative Design has been in disarray for far too long. I built it in flash and in true slacker fashion, neglected the fact that I don’t own flash and can’t edit it. So i’m working on rebuilding it, slowly but surely. That is, in the 5 extra minutes I get between jobs. Anyway, I built a couple of galleries for my photography (do the fun stuff first).
