I may or may not have gotten a root canal yesterday. I say may or may not because frankly, I don’t know. I had a broken tooth/cavity and I followed the sign that said “Dentista.” I thought they were just going to clean it and fill it but then the nice dentist man who probably never saw a gringa before upclose broke out those wirey things they use for scrapping out the inner workings of the tooth and doubled the price. I wasn’t about to argue with the man with the wirey things. He kept asking if I felt anything and seemed surprised when I didn’t.

30 minutes and 35 dollars poorer, I left with a new tooth!

Bought a surfboard and surfed for the first time in 6 months! Argggg! It was awesome.
