overheard at a coffee shop…
“so do they speak english in mexico or is it, like, mexican english?”
Ok. Maybe I can forgive not knowing the spoken language of somewhere, like say, Luxemburg. Maybe even someplace like Brazil because they have to be all different than the rest of their continent. But Mexico? Half the country is residing in the States! And then to ask if they speak “Mexican English”, whatever that is?
